About Me:




Ann has been a student of traditional eastern philosophy, arts and sciences since she was a teenager. She studied Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine with Dr.Jr. Worsley and the faculty at the Worsley institute of Classical Acupuncture in Florida and the College of Traditional Acupuncture in the UK, receiving a Licensure, Advanced Licenciate, and a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is Certified by NACCOM, the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has held a License in the State of NY. for the past 18 years. Ann has studied Herbal Medicine, both Eastern and Western over the past 25 years, which has included core course studies in Chinese Herbology with Ted Kaptchuk.

Some of her other experiences include:
Teaching and assisting at the Academy for 5 Element Acupuncture.
Ann has also trained in and practices the NADA Addiction protocol. She created and directed the Acupuncture Detox Clinic at the Tompkins County Drug and Alcohol Council in Ithaca NY. Ann has also practiced in integrative health centers working collaboratively with western medical doctors, psychologists and physical therapists. Ann also holds a degree in psychology, and is currently a Master’s Degree candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.One of her specialties is working with people challenged by trauma and post traumatic stress, as well as anxiety and depression. Ann is also available to counsel others who have had near death experiences.
Ann brings to her practice her personal journey and her many years of experience working in the field of Oriental Medicine and acupuncture.
Additionally, Ann is a long time meditation practitioner and has spent the last 34 years investigating and studying different somatic disciplines. Ann skillfully integrates these practices and her understanding of the mind/ body connection depending on the individual needs of each person she is working with.
